The permanent magnet motor has a wider speed regulation range, and the speed can be from very low to very high. The range of matching adjustment is wider, which can make the motor run in a high-efficiency range. The permanent magnet synchronous motor will produce high speed when changing from low speed to high speed. It is difficult for asynchronous motors to achieve this efficiency.
